The 2022 edition, which marked the 10th anniversary of the conference, took place from 18th to 20th May 2022 in the fascinating venue of Capri, Italy at the Municipal Congress Centre.
SUM 2022 was held under the patronage of the Italian Ministry for Ecological Transition, Campania Region, City of Capri, ENEA and ISPRA.
The Symposium was attended by 233 delegates from 34 different countries. The largest international delegation came from Austria (29), Spain (16), Germany (12), South Africa (8).
The programme included 186 scientific presentations, organised in 4 parallel tracks of oral sessions, workshops and poster presentations. In addition, 4 plenary sessions have been held everyday, where a moderator and a panel of experts discussed with the audience about specific themes of high public interest.
