Get ready to fall in love with the hidden wonders of Procida! The boat trip to Procida allows you to reach exclusive destinations, which can only be visited by sea: from the bay of Carcara to the islet of Vivara to the breathtaking one of Corricella and Pozzo Vecchio, set of numerous films such as the film “Il Postino”.
Marina Corricella
Characteristic, suggestive and romantic, Marina Corricella is the most ancient fishing village of Procida. The seventeenth-century harbour is famous and appreciated for its peculiar architecture: here it is possible to see an interlacement of arches, domes, windows, stairs, loggias, stairs and multicoloured facades which give life to a building complex more unique than rare for its shapes, colors and arrangement of the houses.
Vivara Island
The island of Vivara, a nature reserve and protected oasis, is the remnant of a circular volcanic crater that was once connected to Procida by a rocky ridge. Today, the island is linked to the promontory of Santa Margherita (Marina Chiaiolella) by a bridge that can only be crossed on foot.
Pozzo Vecchio Beach
Among Procida’s hidden treasures, Pozzo Vecchio stands out as one of the island’s most enchanting beaches. Located on the western side, this stunning stretch of volcanic sand is better known as Postman’s Beach, forever immortalized in one of the most poignant scenes of the acclaimed 1994 film, Il Postino.
