How to reach Procida

ARRIVING BY PLANE

1 - Fly into Naples International Airport (Napoli Capodichino – NAP):
Naples International Airport is the closest airport to Procida, with frequent flights from major European and international cities.

2 - From the Airport to the Port of Naples:

  • Taxi or Rideshare: A taxi ride from the airport to the ferry terminals takes around 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic.

  • Airport Shuttle: The Alibus shuttle bus runs from the airport to Calata Porta di Massa and Molo Beverello ferry terminals in Naples. The ride takes about 30 minutes and provides easy access to both ferry ports.


3 - Ferry or Hydrofoil to Procida:

  • Ferry (Calata Porta di Massa terminal): Approximately 1-hour journey, ideal for a leisurely scenic trip.

  • Hydrofoil (Molo Beverello terminal): About 35 minutes, a faster option to reach Procida.



ARRIVING BY TRAIN


1 - Arrive at Napoli Centrale Train Station:
Trains from Rome, Milan, Venice and other major Italian cities arrive at Napoli Centrale. Naples is connected by Italy’s high-speed rail lines, making train travel a comfortable and efficient option.

2 - From Napoli Centrale to the Port:

  • Taxi: A taxi ride from Napoli Centrale to the ferry terminals takes around 10-15 minutes.

  • Metro: Alternatively, take Metro Line 1 from Napoli Centrale (Garibaldi Station) to Municipio Station, which is a short walk to Molo Beverello.


3 - Board the Ferry or Hydrofoil:
From either Calata Porta di Massa (ferry) or Molo Beverello (hydrofoil), you can reach Procida in 35 minutes to an hour, depending on the service chosen.



ON THE ISLAND
Once you arrive at Marina Grande, Procida’s main port, you'll find local buses, taxis, or scenic walking paths that will take you to various points on the island.
